Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has clearly stated that the lockdown will not be lifted from the state. He said the number of corona infections continues to increase. For this reason the lockdown will not be lifted on 30 June. He further said that the lock down will gradually be relaxed.

Also, Thackeray said, ‘Day after tomorrow we are celebrating National Doctors’ Day. They are fighting for us, I express my gratitude to them. The corona virus is not over yet, we will deal with this issue together. We should not be restless and go out unnecessarily. ‘

Let us tell you that for the first time on a single day in India, about 20,000 cases of Covid-19 were reported on Sunday. With this, the number of infected has reached 5,28,859 while the number of dead has increased to 16,095. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry till eight o’clock in the morning, 19,906 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in a day while 410 people have died in the last 24 hours.

This is the fifth consecutive day that more than 15,000 cases of corona virus have been reported. From June 1 to now, there has been an increase of up to 3,38,324 cases of epidemics.

Out of 410 more people who died till Sunday morning, 167 in Maharashtra, 68 in Tamil Nadu, 66 in Delhi, 19 in Uttar Pradesh, 18 in Gujarat, 13 in West Bengal, 11-11 in Rajasthan and Karnataka, in Andhra Pradesh.
